Life Update On August 8, 2026

 hi everyone, its been a while since i last uploaded a post here. so im returning, but no promises on if i will continue to upload posts. i may just forget that this blog exists again, lol.

anyway, while i havent been posting lately, ive had a ton of exciting and cool things happen. the first thing that was exciting was that i graduated from high school. that was a month or so ago, and so now im on my way to college. the college course that im enrolled in currently is online and is a library technician course.

basically, its to teach me and other students enrolled in it how to be a library technician or in simpler words, how to be a librarian, either for schools or for your average public town library. thats the job im aiming for when im done with that course, to become a librarian for my towns local library especially when it comes to sorting books and such. but i know for a fact that it will be difficult because im autistic and that means that i struggle with social interactions.

now speaking of autism, i had a support needs assessment. i dont think ive told you guys this yet, but i was tested by my provincial developmental services agency to see if i would qualify for their services. and i was. after that was the other part of the assessment, this time to see how much, when, and how long i need support for when compared with other adults with a developmental disability, including autism. this assessment was called the supports intensity scale, and i had been tested with the adult version of the form.

it placed me in the 73rd percentile, which according to both the assessor and some dude on reddit, i am definitely moderate if not moderate-high as i struggle more than 73% individuals which is like 2/3, which in turn is more than half. which the person also called it a big number. so ive been spiralling over that revelation even before some dude on reddit explained what that big number meant. 

and i guess thats it then. thats all that happened. all this time away from my blog and this is what happened?? just this two stuff? i mean, wow. at least it was all good news lol.

Update

 1, and most important part: I returned to school some time ago. I'm now in my final year of school, but we have yet to have an actual plan of the afterwards. But, not yet. I have one class for the whole semester so i won't be as stressed nor crazed as i was last year. 2, and semi-important still: I had my eye check up and subsequently ordered my new glasses, then i ordered new glasses again so i have a choice of eye wear fashion.  3, The actually important point: I now use AAC semi-frequently when need be. I just wanted to keep people up to date here.

I Hate Being Disabled (weird format, Sorry)

  I Hate Being Disabled!!! Ever since i was aware of my diagnoses, i subconsciously understood that i was different from the others, even sometimes from other autistic kids in my elementary school. I knew i was different, but that doesn’t mean i like that all of the time. Sometimes, or most of the time i feel, i dislike my disabilities and had wished that i didn’t have them. But, sometimes, i was vibing with my diagnoses since they weren’t causing me problems that wouldn’t have been there if i wasn’t diagnosed. This post is about me processing my life with all of my disabilities and how i feel about them. The most problems came from my autism in my childhood, i struggled a lot with self regulation and my meltdowns couldn’t be hidden nor be nonviolent as i assume i didn’t have the skills to make it so.
